Lets Connect

Be part of a community.

In this community we worship together, we are accountable to each other, we read and learn the word of God together, we pray for each other, we are in constant fellowship with other believers, still in this community we are looking at spreading the love of our Lord Jesus Christ to non believers and looking out to the lost through the ministry of reconciliation committed to us by christ leading all men to him who has made us  able ministers of the gospel therefore it is our mandate in the community to ensure that the mystery that was hidden from all ages and generations that christ in us the hope of glory is revealed in all men.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 NKJV

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. [18] Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, [19] that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. [20] Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. [21] For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Click here to be part of a community

Why Join a Community?

Colossians 3:16 NLT

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.

Since we are a new creation we are all called to teach and counsel each other with all wisdom through christ by singing, praising, worshiping and reading the word of God as one body of christ and that is the community.

Love
Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV
Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' [40] On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

As a body of christ (community) we are all called to love our God with all our hearts as the first commandment and secondly to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. The main point here is that all commandments center on LOVE. Every aspect of the Christian life flows from our love of God and neighbor, yet community is key to fulfilling this divine decree. We need one another as a source of encouragement to persevere in the faith and maintain this act of love. When we go through challenging moments in our lives that lead us to stumble, its still in community where we find like minded brothers and sisters who have overcome by the blood of Jesus Christ that they will be able to uplift one who feels down. Unity
Zechariah 7:9-10 NKJV
"Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion Everyone to his brother. [10] Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, The alien or the poor. Let none of you plan evil in his heart Against his brother.'
A call to love and unity among the body of christ ( The Community)

Ephesians 4:2-6 NKJV
with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, [3] endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. [4] There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; [5] one Lord, one faith, one baptism; [6] one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

We are all called to bear one another in love keeping the unity of the Spirit as a community in one hope for we have one lord, one faith and one baptism.

Ephesians 4:11-13 NKJV
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, [12] for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, [13] till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

In this community we focus to equip the saints for the work of the ministry and as well to edify the body of christ. (Using our gifts to strengthen and encourage others)

Healing & Prayer
James 5:13-16 NKJV
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. [14] Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. [15] And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. [16] Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

We are to pray for one another in times when sickness befalls any of us, therefore being part of a community of like minded people who will stand with you and believe God for a healing in one spirit will be of help. We're called not only to confess our sins to God but also to one another so that we can be  responsible to one another frequently, we neglect to talk to others about our struggles due to shame or disappointment, but as Christians who have all ran short of God's glory, we should be extending mercy and grace to each other as Christ did to us.

Faith with Actions
James 2:14-19 NKJV
What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? [15] If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, [16] and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? [17] Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. [18] But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. [19] You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble!

As a community, christ has imputed faith on us and has instructed us to Act out our faith by walking like him. Therefore we have to care for others as Christ did. Click here to be part of the community.
