How Should We Pray ?

How Should We Pray

Romans 8:26-27 NASB

Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; [27] and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

Since the Holy Spirit knows the heart of our father, the Bible says he intercedes for us. This doesn't mean that we should not pray but rather this brings an understanding that there is no perfect road map to prayer in a sense of how long should a prayer take, what to say and what not to say, or the perfect timing of when someone should pray.

Because whatever we ask in his name,  scripture says he has given in fact before we kneel down or humble ourselves to pray he responds back.

This brings a QN then why there is a delay in our prayers to be answered. Yes one of the points to answer this could be our hearts and motives remember he search the hearts in such a way that we cannot role-play him he knows our weaknesses.

1 John 5:14-15 NASB

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. [15] And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

This is the guarantee that we have as children of the most high God, He has made us heirs of his kingdom in other wards we are a chosen generation called unto priesthood and Kingship.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, We thank you for your mercies endure forever, you have given us the authority to trample over all lions and adders (over Anxiety, diseases, lust, depression, addictions, guilt, and all limitations that are not of your seed). May your spirit intercede on behalf of us daily. May we remember that you have overcome the world and made us Kings and priest of the most high God.
